My Etching is a picture of a shadow of my silhouette in the sunlight from a window. Most of my etching is dark and medium. I used cross hatching in the dark areas and diagonal lines for the medium areas. I liked the many different values and textures throughout my etching. It was hard to use watercolor paints on the print because it was very runny and hard to achieve the perfect colors that match the picture. I found etching very fun and easy but printing was really hard and messy and took a couple tries to get the hang of.
