To do the jelly plate print you first need to draw shapes and cut them out. After you take  a jelly plate and coat it with paint and print it. Then you place your shapes on another coat of paint and print on top. You repeat this step as many times as you want with as many colors as you want. When printing with the jelly plate you must have a color scheme. My color scheme was monochromatic which is 3 different shades tints and tones of the same color.
